We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Consultant – Taxation with strong expertise in US and Canada taxation requirements. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in SAP Finance processes, tax configuration, and tax engine integrations. Experience with Sabrix is mandatory, while knowledge of Avalara will be an added advantage.

Job Details

  • Work as an SAP FICO Consultant with a strong focus on taxation and tax engine solutions.
  • Configure and support SAP FI/CO taxation processes for the US and Canada.
  • Manage and support integration between SAP and external tax engines.
  • Implement, configure, and troubleshoot Sabrix tax engine solutions.
  • Support Avalara tax engine integration where applicable.
  • Configure tax codes, tax procedures, and taxation settings in SAP.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP taxation solutions.
  • Troubleshoot tax calculation, posting, integration, and reconciliation issues.
  • Collaborate with business users, tax teams, and SAP functional consultants.
  • Participate in implementation, testing, UAT, deployment, enhancements, and production support.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in SAP Taxation and Tax Engine solutions.
  • Strong experience as an SAP FICO Consultant.
  • Mandatory hands-on experience with Sabrix.
  • Strong knowledge of US and Canada taxation.
  • Experience with SAP tax configuration and indirect taxation processes.
  • Strong understanding of SAP integration with external tax engines.
  • Good knowledge of SAP FI modules including AP, AR, GL, and tax postings.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Avalara tax engine.
  • Knowledge of SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA.
  • Experience in tax engine implementation, upgrades, integrations, or production support.
  • Experience working with multinational organizations and North American taxation requirements.

Certificate: SAP FICO Certification (Good to have)
